The AFJ conducts research into diplomacy, national security policy and political trends in Asia-Pacific nations in particular Japan, the United States and China.Our aim is to link these activities to policy proposal. In order to do this, we run research projects and organize international meetings through a network which includes governments, political assemblies, political parties and other think tanks. We also implement various other research and survey projects in response to the request of our members. In recent years, we have mainly addressed the following themes:
